Christmas Wishlist (All Inclusive)

Christmas Wishlist (All Inclusive)

Last week I did a post on what I wanted for Christmas this year as far as beauty products goes. I do want a lot of makeup (always), and I’ve been asked a few times what other stuff I want. And I honestly answered that I want boring things. I don’t like paying for boring stuff, so for Christmas it would be awesome to get like, a gas card. Or some other bill that I don’t appreciate paying for. That’s what I would like because it would help me for the rest of the year. But I’ve been told by certain family members that I’m cheap. And that I should want stuff that’s more fun. So I thought I’d make ANOTHER list of FUN stuff I want. So here goes:

Forever 21:

I love this. I’ve really been loving the sweatshirt and jeans look this season. Pullovers are easy to style. I’ve always loved graphic tops, so having both in one piece is ideal. The orange and the red is really warm toned for this season, but I think I’d use this for the awkward transition between winter to spring.

Forever 21:

No matter how hard I try, I just can’t get over roses. I know the whole rose thing is kind of overkill because of the embroidery trend but I love them so much.

Forever 21:

This cross body bag is so adorable. It’s not exactly functional, but it’s really chic. It is like a suitcase, which would make me feel like the business woman I aspire to be. WANT. WANT. WANT.

Does this sweater not look right out of the 80’s? I need it. It looks itchy, but that’s a situation I’m willing to handle if it means that I can look like a character out of Stranger Things.

I love Tommy Hilfiger clothing. I don’t own any. Yet. But maybe that will change.

Slide View: 1: Tommy Hilfiger Reversible Beanie

And beanies. I usually do not ever wear beanies. But that’s quickly changing. And this beanie needs to be on my head from now until summer.

Slide View: 1: Female Form Planter

The female body is a work of art. I need all three of these living in perfect harmony on the top shelf of my room with little succulent plants nesting nicely within.

Line art is a current fav of mine. What can I say?

I would like this as a phone case. I have a galaxy s5. The artist is named Cassandra and she has really cute drawings. This one is especially my favorite, so I’d like to have it on my phone, with me everywhere.

And yeah, that’s basically it. I don’t know if I’m easy to shop for but I always think I am. Click on any of these pictures above to be redirected to their store site. I don’t own any of these pictures.

If you weren’t sure what you’ve been wanting for Christmas I hope this post gave you some ideas. I hope to be posting some this week, but I’m taking it easy this month. I’ll write more on that soon.

Have a great weekend. Keep the Holiday Cheer going. Until next time,

Holiday Nails

Nail art is a great way to be festive and since it’s trending right now, I thought I would do a post about creative nail art ideas that are so easy, it won’t take you but 15 minutes.

For this first design, all you’re gonna need is a light blue nail polish and a white nail polish. I did two coats of the blue for the background. For the snowflakes, the technique I used was putting dots randomly on my nail, and using a Bobby pin to draw/dab in the lines. This can create a blurred effect, so if you’re looking for something more precise, perhaps try a nail art pen.

This look is more subtle. For this design all you will need is red and silver nail polish. I used two coats of red on each nail, and then used the silver on my fourth fingers. I then created a thin french tip by lightly draw on the tips of my nails with the silver. You could do this with gold glitter nail polish if you wanted, because the red and gold combination is very popular this year.

This next one is a lot harder, as you can see by my big blobs of color. Personally, I think it’s super cute, but some of you perfectionists out there would probably need some help with this one. This nail art design requires a nail art drawing pen like the one I used here.

What you do is draw a half circle on your nail, and try your best to create an oval shape, kind of like a Christmas bulb. Then I went in with red and green nail polish and no dotted on the black line ro look like colored Christmas lights. It may have came out better with a black outlinr, but I figured this is as realistic as a nail art idea post can get.

You could use any color you like, or if you wanted to use black as the background and white as the Christmas light cord, I think that’s a fantastic idea.

Thank you so much for reading. I wanted to create a cute little blog post for the festive season.

Tis the Season

Okay the holiday season has officially arrived now that it’s freezing cold. So I’m going to now start my winter/ Christmas series of blog posts!! I’m very excited to be sharing these ideas with you and hope you enjoy them.

I would like to keep these posts a surprise, but I wanted to let y’all know what to expect. So for today I wanted to talk about Christmas and the gift of giving.

Last Christmas I had the idea to buy a $20 or $25 visa gift card, and hand it out to a stranger I thought deserved a little holiday cheer. I walked around the store and found an older gentleman helping an elderly employee move inventory. A younger man followed behind, so I asked this younger man if he was with the kind gentleman helping the employee. He responded yes, so I handed him the envelope with the gift card inside, and told him to have a Merry Christmas.

These men didn’t look needy or poor, they were just being kind so I felt they deserved a little something nice. I expect this to become an annual tradition.

Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t write this post to encourage you to start a charity or make you feel guilty for not doing enough. However, I just encourage you to be a little more considerate than usual. People during this time are cold, cranky, and are in such a rush. Don’t be one of those people. Enjoy the season for what it’s worth.

Be cautious if you’re traveling, be kind if you’re visiting. Be understanding with employees, and be grateful for your gifts.
