Now that the seasons are changing and the time for frappicinos has passed, and your girl doesn’t usually appreciate warm coffee, the perfect way for me to warm up in the morning is by sipping soup instead.
Even though the idea might seem odd, it’s actually perfect for cold mornings and those times where you hit that snooze button over and over again, you forget to grab a breakfast. What I usually do is go over to my local coffee shop and say “Can I have a cup of tomato basil soup in a small coffee cup please?” It is sooooo savory, quick, and convenient.
Now seeing as I’m only getting lazier I’ve decided that now I’m going to make a bunch of soup and just heat it up in one of those fancy shmancy recyclable cups from Starbucks. I wanna try out the base of French onion soup, spinach and broccoli soup, and miso soup. For those of you who don’t know, miso soup is a Japanese style soup with green onions and tofu. It’s very thin, not creamy, and it’s actually really filling. So if you like this idea and would like to try it for yourself, I’ll link some recipes down below.
