Metal Rebel

Nails have become a major factor in tying an outfit together. Nail art, nail shapes, and colors are really fun to play with but can also be a hastle.

I love doing my nails. It honestly can make you feel really good about yourself, knowing a part of you will always be glowing. And since I’ve been obsessed with gold lately, I figured that this would be a perfect way to spice up my Autumn style. Metallic colors look great on any skin tone, but I like gold and copper the best.

For this nail look I used the color Copper Penny from Revlon, but it looks more gold to me. This product lasts awhile, dries pretty fast, and is easily removed with any nail polish remover. I feel luxurious wearing metallic nail polish and it’s definitely something I see myself doing all through this cold season.

But besides nails, there has also been a metallic lip craze going on as well. Beauty vloggers I follow such as Kallie Kaiser and Brianna Joy displayed glitter lips on they’re channel, but some of them looked metallic to me. I found a product that mimics the same style without all the hastle or the gawky price tag.

As you can see, this is the Metallic Mouse from Hard Candy in the shade Truffle and this beautiful baby cost only $6.

This color is a really pretty pink with silver undertones. It is creamy and extremely easy to apply. Some of you may be thinking, “but where could I possibly wear that?” and the answer is “Anywhere!” These colors look especially ravishing for holiday parties and things of that nature, but you can use these lippies just going about your day.

I really love these two colors together. I think this look would go so cute with a simple grey sweater and some leggings. Keep the clothing simple when the makeup is bold, and vice versa.

Thank you so much for reading. Like this post for more or comment what you would like to see!
